Disk filters are designed to clean dirty water for drip irrigation systems and handle up to 3 times more dirt and debris than screen filters before cleaning is necessary. The design of the “disk” filter is a stack of disks pressed together. These disks have tiny grooves that allow clean water to pass through. To clean the filter; remove the cover, loosen the stack of disks and wash between the disks; reassemble.
